The East Wing is located in a stunning, elevated, private setting, just beyond the south-western edge of the beautiful and highly sought after village of Lodsworth. It is set amidst the rolling West Sussex countryside and within The South Downs National Park. Lodsworth has a thriving community with its own pub The Hollist Arms, the Lodsworth Larder shop selling local produce, St Peters Church and an annual village fete held in May. Sporting and recreational facilities in the area include polo at Cowdray Park, horse racing and motor racing at Goodwood, and sailing out of Chichester Harbour. There are many golf courses including Cowdray Park in Midhurst, Goodwood Golf Club near Chichester and The West Sussex Golf Club in Pulborough. There are also extensive recreational opportunities throughout the South Downs National Park including walking, riding and cycling.
